Epilogue
Human beings live between instinct and spirit.
At birth,
our light is pure.
As life unfolds,
that light is often dimmed—
not all at once,
but little by little.
Every wound leaves a shadow.
Fortunately,
love remains.
It quietly holds the balance between light and darkness.
The greater challenge
is learning to shed what no longer belongs,
to face the darkness,
understand it,
heal it—or simply accept it—
until the light finds its way home again.
If there were only one thing worth carrying through every lifetime,
each person would answer differently.
For me,
it is love.
The one force that allows every part of us to awaken.
